The Hotel Bamboo is becoming the Residence Goldrain: after renovation, you can expect comfortable apartments. With us, you will experience a holiday full of activity, flexibility and relaxation in a relaxed and cosy atmosphere. We will spoil you with a breakfast buffet on request, and our wellness oasis brings southern flair to the South Tyrolean mountains. We also offer special services for your hiking and biking holiday in the Vinschgau Valley.

Cosy apartments & beautiful pool

Our newly designed holiday apartments are small but perfectly formed. The 35 m² one-room apartments offer a balcony, a fully equipped kitchenette, air conditioning, WiFi, a safe and satellite TV. On request and subject to availability, two apartments can be connected via a shared entrance. Our heated pool with tropical garden and sandy beach in the glass house and our sauna are ideal places to chill out and relax. At the same time, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the beautiful landscape – a truly unique combination of beach feeling and mountain panorama.

Sport, adventure & fun

Residence GoldRain is located in the heart of the Vinschgau Valley, at the foot of the Stilfserjoch National Park and near the spa town of Meran. This is the ideal place for a holiday full of sporting activities and adventure. Experience guided mountain bike tours and hikes, paragliding, rafting, shopping and exciting winter sports in the cold season!

Excellent hotel with a pool and wellness center, suitable for athletes and non-athletes alike! It boasts a splendid view, and the staff is very friendly and professional! Ideal for mountain excursions on foot or by e-bike!

Last minute stay in the Venosta Valley. We arrived early afternoon, checked in, and were given a huge room, practically an apartment, including a bathroom with a window. We enjoyed the spa and pool, and one morning we rented bikes for a ride along the bike path north toward Lake Resia. Dinner included a varied buffet of sweet and savory dishes, and the open-plan kitchen served the first courses. Everything was delicious, as was the breakfast. The location is close to the train station, but we had no trouble sleeping. Highly recommended.

From check-in to check-out, the entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. There was ample parking available, and it was even free. The breakfast buffet offered a varied and high-quality selection, as did the dinner, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The pool and wellness area were extremely inviting, well-maintained, and clean, perfect for relaxing. Good value for money. Thank you very much for the wonderful stay!

We've stayed at the Bamboo several times now. The rooms are very large, clean, with plenty of closets and storage space, and large bathrooms with walk-in showers. The food was once again truly excellent. The pool has a wonderful atmosphere and invites you to relax. There's a sauna/wellness area. Several tours can be started from here. Otherwise, you can simply take the Vinschgaubahn railway or train station, which is about 200 meters away. Actually, we deducted half a star for the location, as strolling in the small town of Goldrain isn't really possible in the evenings. However, the outdoor atmosphere at the hotel is all the more beautiful in warm weather. We (a couple, daughter, and friend with our own room) felt completely at home again and are looking forward to our next visit.

We stayed here for a couple of nights while doing a bike tour and were so happy that we chose this place to have a rest day. The staff were very welcoming and thoughtful and had plenty of vegetarian options for us at breakfast and at dinner - which was absolutely amazing and fresh. The bike storage room is very well thought out and has pumps and tools that you might need. The spa/sauna/pool were very nice and clean and had plenty of space to relax with afternoon cake. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The location is beautiful even when the weather is not perfect. Was the absolute highlight of our trip and we cannot wait to come back again!

A very, very nice hotel in a great location! The food is really, really good, as is the extensive wellness area with everything your heart desires. With a clear conscience there are full stars!
