Szlaki wysokogórskie w Południowym Tyrolu
Jednym ze sposobów na odetchnięcie alpejskim powietrzem bez przekraczania granicy 3000 metrów lub konieczności posiadania doświadczenia wysokogórskiego jest wędrówka szlakami wysokogórskimi w Południowym Tyrolu. Poruszasz się tam na średniej wysokości od 2000 do 2500 m n.p.m., pokonujesz dłuższe dystanse na zboczach najpiękniejszych gór średniowysokich, a jednocześnie możesz zdobyć trochę wysokogórskiego doświadczenia, jeśli wejdziesz nieco wyżej na pole firnowe, jak ma to miejsce na przykład w przypadku Stabeler Höhenweg w dolinie Valli di Tures e Aurina.
Szczególnie imponujące podczas wędrówek na szlakach wysokogórskich są naprawdę wysokie lodowce, które wydają się być na tyle blisko, że można ich dotknąć ze szlaku poniżej, a jednak tylko w ten sposób stają się zauważalne w swoich ogromnych rozmiarach.
Wędrówki szlakami wysokogórskimi są zwykle przeznaczone na kilka dni wędrówki. W końcu pokonuje się sporo kilometrów i metrów przewyższenia.
