A long weekend for a couple seeking relaxation and autumn colors. Comfortable property, friendly, hospitable, and helpful Oberlechner family. Recently built, not yet fully finished, but already of a good standard. Considering we were there just before they closed for vacation, everything lived up to expectations, and we were satisfied with the quality/price ratio.

Nestled amidst the South Tyrolean Alps, the Hotel Purvita offers breathtaking views. The food was truly exceptional. The newly built rooms are furnished with high-quality materials and are incredibly inviting. The hosts are a family-run business who warmly welcome every guest and ensure that all their needs are met. We'll be back!

I'll start by saying that I travel frequently to South Tyrol and have stayed at many hotels in this category. The Oberlechner Hotel, which used to be three stars, has now become the Purvita, which has four stars. The fact that it has four stars definitely changes expectations. Upon our arrival, we noticed that there isn't a proper entrance, but two elevators that lead from the "unmarked" garage to the reception, or an external staircase. The hotel faces directly onto a side road, and there's no privacy. This is especially true regarding the much-hyped new swimming pool, which is perhaps the hotel's only attractive feature. It's a shame it faces the road. Having an electric car, upon arrival I asked if I could charge it. We were told that only one of the three charging stations worked, and that it was only possible until a certain time because the electricity was then used for other hotel services. It would therefore be better to charge it in town, as they recommended. For some reason, other guests didn't use the service, and fortunately we were able to charge our car. Since we have a dog, we were given a room that smelled of dog food and smoke, with the floor completely ruined. It had been open until our arrival (perhaps because of the smell), and we struggled to heat it. The only new part of the spa is the pool; the rest of the saunas are old-fashioned, quite distant, and connected by a freezing corridor. Naturally, there are no steam jets in the sauna, much less hot water for herbal teas. Only one shower in the entire spa has soap. After the sauna, you need to go out into the cold, but unfortunately the exit is directly into the parking lot. Dinner isn't five courses as advertised, but three: a first course, a second course, and dessert served at the table. It's preceded by a small salad buffet, a few cold dishes, and a soup. If you arrive half an hour after the buffet opens, you risk missing everything because it's not replenished. When we asked for a dish that had just run out from the buffet, the staff was evasive and pretended to forget the request. There's only one dessert option; the alternative is fresh fruit or ice cream. The first courses are small, but the second courses are very good. Let's skip the desserts...basic and poorly plated. The afternoon buffet, unfortunately, only consists of five cakes, the same every day. Breakfast buffet with the essentials. No preparation. Currently, the show cooking area is closed. The pancakes are fried and greasy. No freshly squeezed juice, just washed-out juices. Obviously, don't expect smoked salmon. Themed evenings are non-existent. For the first time since we've been frequenting hotels in South Tyrol, we're returning earlier than expected. Good potential, but still a work in progress.

The newly opened hotel left nothing to be desired. A few things might be missing here and there, but otherwise it was a very pleasant stay. The Oberlechner family and their team are very friendly and accommodating.

We spent our honeymoon here and couldn't have wished for a more beautiful place! The food was simply exquisite – from the selection to the presentation, every dish was a delight. You can tell how much love and skill goes into the cooking here. The service was also outstanding: attentive, warm, and always with a smile. The ambiance is wonderful – stylish, cozy, and designed with great attention to detail. We particularly appreciated the little touches we received. The Oberlechner family is exceptionally friendly and accommodating and even personally prepared something special for us in our room – a wonderful gesture that touched us deeply. The view and the location of the hotel are simply breathtaking – you can't get enough of it! Here, you can truly relax and enjoy every moment. Thank you so much for these unforgettable days – we will definitely be back!

Great new hotel. Minimalist, stylish rooms. The Oberlechner family is incredibly friendly and welcoming. There's a sauna and a steam room – absolutely sufficient for us. The pool area is also very nice. The food is good. A classic breakfast. Dinner is always four courses. Cake is served in the afternoon. For us, it was an absolutely wonderful vacation.

The hotel reopened in July 2025 after partial demolition and reconstruction. Upon arrival, the access and parking could be better signposted. We booked one of the new rooms. It was beautifully and stylishly furnished. We found it negative that there weren't enough hooks for hanging various items. There were no drink glasses in the room; we had to get them at the bar in the evening. The TV also doesn't allow connection to external media, which should be standard these days. We found the bedding generally uncomfortable. The room temperature couldn't be regulated in the room. The pool is quite nice, but unfortunately it quickly fades into the shade, and there's a road in front of it. There's a steam sauna and a Finnish sauna, as well as another indoor pool, which was too cold. There's a relaxation room with too many loungers in a small space. We were expecting too much for a 3-star hotel. But the hotel doesn't claim to be a wellness hotel, but rather a family-run hotel with a small wellness area. During the winter season, however, if you're looking for some relaxation after the slopes, the sauna area definitely gets too crowded and crowded very quickly. Bathrobes were only available upon request, and we were charged €8 per week for each. There are only a few loungers on the roof terrace; the selection could certainly be expanded with sunbeds and a whirlpool. The most important thing on vacation is the food. Well, breakfast: juices, thin and lacking in flavor. A freshly squeezed orange juice would be better than four bad juices. Rolls and bread, limited selection and poor quality. Sausage and cheese were the same small selection every day and only supermarket quality. Scrambled eggs weren't scrambled eggs. A good fully automatic coffee machine. Delicious fruit. Dinner: We found the soups inedible. The salad buffet had the same salads every day and only one dressing, which wasn't convincing. The antipasti wasn't worth mentioning. The main course served was usually lukewarm and neither tasty nor good in quality. We switched to schnitzel and pasta twice, which is free of charge. Dessert was always delicious; it was definitely not the same chef at work here. The family itself is nice and hard-working, but I think they might be overwhelmed by the new concept. Why not stick to traditional dishes with regional ingredients, but with a smaller selection? The view from the restaurant is fantastic, though. All in all, considering it's "only" a 3-star hotel, the stay was OK.

We stayed at this hotel over the summer with my family and had a wonderful time. It's a recently renovated hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms and, most importantly, a breathtaking view of the Pusteria Valley. The family-run hotel is very friendly and attentive to their guests' needs. The breakfast was excellent, as was the dinner, with very good and carefully prepared dishes. The pool and spa were also very nice.
