A very idyllic location, exceptionally good food, a fantastic rooftop pool with an afternoon food and drink ordering service, very friendly and attentive staff, and very charming owners.

It's not so easy to rate this hotel. The staff deserves special mention. It should get five stars for that alone. The staff is incredibly attentive and constantly striving to fulfill every guest's wishes. You're never asked for your room number, and extras like drinks are always correctly charged to your room without you having to sign a receipt. Staff address you by name, even those you've only spoken to once. It's a mystery to us how they've perfected this. The hostesses always make an effort to address guests personally, giving the hotel a very familial feel. The hotel is situated on a hillside amidst an apple orchard with a sensational view of the valley and Merano. The only downside is the constant background noise from the busy road in the valley and the town. It's not exactly idyllic and peaceful. However, you don't really notice it after a few days. We stayed in the Bella Vista Suite, which had a fantastically furnished balcony with loungers, armchairs, and chairs. The suite was quite spacious, although the furniture, especially the green sofas, seemed a bit dated, but that's just a matter of personal taste. The garden with its pool area and the rooftop pool with its whirlpool are very nice, offering excellent views. Being able to order drinks from your lounger using a QR code is also very convenient. However, it's not so pleasant that there are always guests who reserve loungers with towels and then disappear all day, leaving no loungers available at the popular rooftop pool. The food is varied and quite good, both as set menus and à la carte. Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet is rather minimalist compared to other 5-star hotels. For example, not every type of fruit is available every day. There is a selection of rolls and bread, but the rolls aren't crispy and taste a bit stale, which they certainly aren't. The evening buffet, which supplements the set menu, is also quite limited. Despite this, you can always find something to eat. If there's one thing that could be improved, it would be the welcome upon arrival. After a long journey, a welcome drink and a cold towel on hot days would have been a nice touch. It's worth mentioning that they hold a welcome reception once a week. It would also have been helpful to have some information about the hotel on the first day. However, after a few days, we were able to find our way around on our own. It would be great to have a contact person for hiking. For example, a hiking guide could be available for an hour each evening to help with planning excursions and hikes. Many hotels in Tyrol already offer this service. After a few days, we also familiarized ourselves with the local bus and train system, with stops located near the hotel. The front office staff often seemed a bit overwhelmed with the information we requested. Modern five-star hotels now have a concierge who is always available via WhatsApp for questions, reservations, and planning. All in all, the hotel is good and thrives on its family-run atmosphere. This is something you have to appreciate.

A truly fantastic stay at Giardino Marling! Our new, elegant suite was beautifully designed, modern, and spacious – with a large balcony and a magnificent view of Merano. The stunning location created a real holiday feeling from the very first moment. We were particularly impressed by the exceptionally good service. The entire staff is incredibly warm, attentive, and courteous, and the host family also creates a wonderfully personal and welcoming atmosphere. The turndown service is a dream – as is the wonderful scent of freshly laundered linens, which you'll wish you could take home with you. The culinary offerings leave nothing to be desired either: excellent cuisine and a superb bar perfectly complement the stay. Giardino Marling truly offers everything you could wish for in a relaxing and special holiday. We felt completely at ease and would love to return! ️

**Very pleasant stay, excellent management** We had a truly pleasant stay at the Hotel Giardino in Marlengo. The property is welcoming and well-organized, and you can tell it's directly managed by the owners: there's attention to detail and genuine hospitality, the likes of which you won't find everywhere else. The staff is friendly and helpful, available when needed but never intrusive. We felt truly at ease, almost at home. The cuisine also won us over: carefully prepared dishes, quality ingredients, and consistently enjoyable dinners. A hotel we'd happily recommend and will gladly return to.

The family-run hotel is managed with great passion across generations. The owners are present daily, personally attending to their guests and ensuring that even the smallest requests are promptly fulfilled. The warmth and professionalism of the entire team make every stay special. Here, you don't feel like a guest, but rather like a valued member of the family. The hotel sets culinary standards. The food is simply sensational, creatively prepared, and served at the highest level. The stylish bar, with its excellent drinks and elegant ambiance, invites you to linger. Every dish and every beverage is prepared with great care and attention to detail. The entire hotel and its beautiful gardens are maintained with remarkable dedication. Throughout the hotel, you'll find exquisite floral arrangements, tasteful decorations, and lovingly crafted details that lend it its unique charm. Everywhere you look, you can feel the personal touch of the hosts and their dedication to offering their guests something truly special. Nestled amidst idyllic apple orchards, the hotel offers an exceptionally tranquil and relaxed atmosphere with breathtaking views over Merano. Despite its proximity to a railway line, the noise is barely noticeable and does not disturb the peace in any way. The infrastructure leaves nothing to be desired: the motorway is just 10 minutes away, and Merano is 15 minutes away. A modern, two-story, covered parking garage is located directly behind the hotel, providing optimal protection for vehicles in both summer and inclement weather. A place to arrive, unwind, and enjoy – with exceptional hospitality, the highest standards of quality, and an ambiance that will leave a lasting impression. This hotel is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful retreats in the Merano region.

We spent some wonderful days with our two daughters and our dog at this hotel. The welcome was superb; Ulrike, Anna, and Alessandro made us feel at home, and the entire staff is extremely competent and pleasant. The view from the room and the terrace where meals are served is breathtaking. The pools, spa, and garden are meticulously maintained, intimate, and welcoming. And what can we say about the cuisine...a varied and absolutely well-crafted offering, for both adults and children. The wine list is excellent! A wide selection of activities and suggestions for visiting the beautiful surroundings certainly completes the holiday. The refined and elegant, yet familiar and relaxed atmosphere makes you feel pampered. The result is that you never want to leave and are left wanting to return as soon as possible! Thank you so much for the wonderful days you gave us!

I am not one to gush, but this hotel is exceptional. The level of detail to everything (kind, professional staff and owners), decor (extremely stylish without being bling), a perfect welcome (right level of friendliness without being over familiar), incredible food (buffets and menus varied and extremely impressive), gardens and pools very tranquil and perfectly kept. Effortless charm, style and tranquillity. I recommend this hotel highly. We will be back (and the in room moisturiser will be particularly remembered..).

We found it especially pleasant that all the staff members always greeted us with such exceptional friendliness. This created a special atmosphere in this family-run hotel.
