Our Hotel das stachelburg is situated in a dreamlike quiet area in Partschins, on the southern slope of Mt. Sonnenberg with panoramic view to Meran. Here, at about 600 meters above sea level, you will enjoy one of the best climatic zones of South Tyrol with at least 300 sunny days per year. The studios, double rooms and suites of our Hotel das stachelburg offer the best comfort, a modern design, much wood and natural colours. From the culinary point of view, we will spoil you with a vital breakfast and fresh à-la-carte dishes that you can also enjoy on the sun terrace. In the evening, our kitchen team creates healthy and regional dishes of the vital and gourmet cuisine.

In order to guarantee you a comfortable stay, we offer a bio sauna, Finnish well-being sauna, steam bath, heated relax whirlpool in the garden, relaxation room, fitness room and heated indoor pool. Our weekly programme offers you guided hikes, yoga classes and various sports. The wellness bag with bath towels and cosy bathrobes is available in your room.

Places to visit in the surroundings

The village of Partschins is the ideal starting point for various hikes. From beginners to experts, our holiday resort offers everyone a wealth of hiking opportunities. The 97 metres high Partschins waterfall is one of the most impressive waterfalls in the Alps and has been certified as a climatic health resort. Meran is about 20 minutes away by public bus, the spa town can be reached on foot in about 2 hours.

A very nice hotel that met all our expectations. We were particularly impressed by the staff. Everyone was always in a good mood and served guests with a smile. Whether it was the "egg lady" Helene, the staff from the restaurant and bar, or the friendly ladies at reception and the manager Paul. We didn't get to meet the kitchen team, but we did get to know their food: and it was always excellent! Because we enjoyed everything so much, we immediately booked again for next year. Please keep up the good work.

At Hotel Das Stachelburg, you can truly indulge yourself. The dinner, in particular, impresses with its high quality, wide variety, and excellent taste – a true highlight of the stay. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly, and attentive, which significantly enhances the feel-good factor. The rooms are simply and functionally furnished. A kettle or capsule machine would be a useful addition for even more comfort. Helene from the breakfast service deserves special mention: her refreshing manner, attentiveness, and organizational skills ensure a perfect start to the day. You can clearly feel the difference when she's not on duty. The spa area may be small, but perfectly adequate for a relaxing few hours. Overall, I can recommend the hotel with a clear conscience – a wonderful place for relaxation and enjoyment.

A very nice hotel that met all our expectations. Partschins is generally one of the quieter towns in the Vinschgau Valley, so the conditions are ideal for a relaxing break. The service is very attentive. The full board leaves nothing to be desired. Intolerances are perfectly catered for. Our room was very spacious, with a beautiful view of Merano. The wellness area has two saunas (60/90C), a waterfall shower, comfortable loungers and daybeds. There's an indoor swimming pool with a counter-current system. Outside, there's a whirlpool with lovely relaxation areas in the garden. The fitness room isn't lavish, but it's functional and well-equipped. The massages we booked were very good. Many hikes of all levels of difficulty can be accessed directly from the hotel. The bus connections are very good. You can safely leave the car at home.

A wonderful, feel-good place, with equally wonderful people. You take such a warm and welcoming approach to your guests – each and every one of them. Actually, I shouldn't even write a review or tell anyone how wonderful it is here I've had a great rest and I miss the stunning view and the wonderful dinner! We really enjoyed it here. The drinking spring water is top-notch, as is the service. The underground parking leaves nothing to be desired for motorbikes and e-bikers, and the location is perfect for extended leisure excursions. When it comes to food, we Carinthians are already used to a lot of Alpine fare, but there are still some new and good things to try here. We'll be back.
