Welcome to the apartments of Heideggerhof

The farmstay Heideggerhof in Kaltern is the ideal accommodation for holidays with family or friends. At our apartments, you enjoy the authentic life and the freedom to organise your holidays on the South Tyrolean wine route as you desire. Our house is located only a few minutes from the centre of Kaltern. In the picturesque village, you find shops, supermarkets, a pizzeria, a restaurant and much more. On our Heideggerhof, families feel just like in paradise. Our guests are always welcome to look over our shoulders in the fruit orchards and vineyards. Children look forward to our chickens, rabbits and the pony.

Alpine-style apartments with a view

Our guests are offered comfortable apartments (2-6 persons) in rural-alpine style, surrounded by vineyards and fruit orchards. They dispose of a well-equipped kitchen with toaster, coffee machine and dishwasher, a bathroom with shower, hairdryer and WC, a large and comfortable living room with radio and satellite TV, as well as of up to two bedrooms. Towels, bed and kitchen linen are included as well. Our washing machine can be used for a little fee and free Wi-Fi is available in the entire building. On request, we provide you with fresh bread every morning. From the apartments’ balcony or terrace, you enjoy a wonderful view over the picturesque surrounding landscape. The grill in the garden is perfect for pleasant summer evenings for you and your family or friends.

Hiking to local lakes & Törggelen

The environs of Kaltern on the wine route are one of the most loved holiday destinations in South Tyrol. We recommend you an excursion to Lake Kaltern and to the two Montiggl lakes in the close surrounding area. Furthermore, the Heideggerhof is a good starting point for hikes and bike tours. In autumn, connoisseurs cannot wait for the traditional chestnut events and tastings, new wine and typical delicacies of the South Tyrolean cuisine. In winter, the Dolomites are perfect for ski days and winter hikes. In the environs, the romantic Christmas markets offer sweet seductions and typical South Tyrolean products.

We had such a wonderful holiday at the Heideggerhof and can truly recommend it to everyone! A fantastic location (the farm itself, the surrounding area as a perfect starting point for hikes, and great restaurants nearby), cozy apartments, homemade wine/jam/..., pure warmth and hospitality. The Heideggerhof is a dream, not only for children, but especially for them; ours wouldn't want to go anywhere else. A playground on the property, Blacky the pony you can ride, chickens among the vines, a beautiful pool... But we felt the same way. After every hike, we were already looking forward to returning to the farm. Maria and her family are so kind and welcoming, always helpful and with great tips. We were interested, and they let us participate in the fruit harvest. Here, you simply feel like you're experiencing pure South Tyrol. Thank you so much, and we hope to see you soon!

We spent a wonderful week there with our little daughter. The animals were the highlight for her, both the chickens and the pony. There were two other families there, which was great for all the children (and parents). The pool is lovely and right next to the apartment. The landscape there is beautiful, and you can go hiking and take excursions. The apartment was well-equipped with everything you need, and most importantly, we even got a crib and high chair. Maria, the hostess, is super nice and takes care of everything you need. We were there in September, and there were always grapes and apples from the garden. We would love to come back.

We spent a wonderful holiday with our family at the Heiderhof in Kaltern. The location is stunning – amidst the vineyards, with a magnificent view of the surrounding area. We particularly appreciated the warm hospitality of our hosts, who were always there for us and gave us lots of great tips for excursions. The farm is ideal for children: plenty of space to play, animals to pet, and plenty of nature to explore. The apartment was also well-equipped, very clean, and comfortably furnished – you immediately feel at home. A perfect base for exploring the region around Lake Kaltern, going on hikes, or simply relaxing. We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend the Heiderhof – especially for families who want to enjoy peace, nature, and genuine South Tyrolean hospitality. Best wishes from Cologne

We spent two wonderful weeks at the Heideggerhof. The children had fun with the pony and the chickens. The pool was a highlight. The Heidegger family is very nice, and we got along very well. The apartments are well furnished, with everything you need. While the decorating taste is up for debate, everything was clean. The furniture is older, so there's no expensive, brand-new pine furniture, but in our opinion, that's not necessary. Everything has to work and be clean; that's the main thing. There are homemade treats like jam, wine, apple juice, olives, etc. for sale on the farm. We highly recommend the Heideggerhof and would come back again :-) Best regards, the Marth family

We had a wonderful holiday at the Heidegger Hof. Maria gave us a warm welcome and looked after us wonderfully throughout our stay. Wine from the estate and homemade jams, as well as beer, ice cream, and soft drinks, can be purchased directly on site. The pool was great, and thanks to Maria, the socializing with the other guests was excellent. The children were allowed to pet the pony Blacky and even ride him. The location is perfect. With views of the valley and the mountains. Located in the immediate vicinity of Kaltern and Bolzano. We would love to come back! Thank you for the wonderful days

Super nice apartment and great location. The pool and the pony were the absolute highlights for our daughter. Highly recommended, especially because you have absolute peace and quiet. Maria, the housekeeper, is super sweet. We'd love to come back.

A little paradise for families – the Heideggerhof in Oberplanitzing The Heideggerhof is an absolute insider tip for families with children! As soon as you arrive, you can feel the warmth of the hosts - you immediately feel at home. It is a place where children's hearts beat faster and adults can relax. Our children were thrilled from the first moment: there is a lovely pony to pet, chickens that run around freely and a cute bunny who loves to be watched. The farm is a real adventure land - the playground with trampoline, slide and swings makes children's eyes shine every day. On hot days, the outdoor pool offers wonderful refreshment - perfect for water lovers big and small. And while the children play happily, the parents can enjoy the idyllic tranquility and the wonderful view. The host family has so much heart that you immediately feel welcome. Everything is lovingly maintained, clean and authentic - not a stylish holiday farm, but a real piece of South Tyrol with a lot of charm. We will definitely come back - a place that not only makes children's dreams come true, but also warms the heart.
