Welcome to Gasthof Goldene Traube in Tramin!

Our Gasthof Goldene Traube is open for guests all year round. Our guest house Goldene Traube is located in the heart of Tramin: All rooms are equipped with modern comfort, flat screen TV and free WLAN. The 6 new rooms and suites have luxurious furnishings, much wood, a bathroom made of natural stone as well as air conditioning. The rooms on the upper floors are accessible by elevator, parking is offered too. The 2 new studios offer much space with separate living rooms and bedrooms and with a balcony with morning sun. 

Culinary indulgence holiday

Our guests can book the rooms and suites, if they like, with breakfast, half board or full board. If you eat à-la-carte in our Restaurant Goldene Traube, you will get a discount being our guests. We offer delicious specialities – from regional to Mediterranean and international, from burgers to pasta. Particularly, our guests appreciate our thematic dinners, focussing for example on barbecue or wine. You will be offered varied culinary experiences.

Hiking & biking, wine tasting & swimming fun

Tramin on the Wine Route is a charming village in Southern South Tyrol, offering the perfect mix of relaxed pleasures and physical activities. There will be something for all tastes: guided tours in wine cellars, wine tastings in Tramin, bike tours on the wine route or a shopping tour in Bozen. For our guests we also offer a private jetty at Lake Kaltern and a private pool is located only 100 m from us.

Centrally located hotel with a beautiful view and everything within easy reach, including a free bus stop with the pass for touring South Tyrol. The staff and the owner are friendly, warm, and efficient. The cuisine is excellent, and the restaurant is always busy. Everything is tastefully decorated, as are the rooms. I stayed there on half-board from October 29th to November 2nd, and everything met my expectations. I can't wait to return.

This review refers to the restaurant. During our five-day vacation, we went here for dinner twice. On the first evening, we had the four-course surprise menu with wine pairing, which completely won us over. The price of €55 + €20 per person was very reasonable considering the quality of the food and wine, as well as the service. The second evening, when we ate à la carte, was again delicious and the service very attentive. The house wines, produced from our own vineyards, are also particularly recommended.

Delicious food in the heart of Tramin. The restaurant is modern and stylishly decorated. The portions are large and of high quality. The burgers are juicy and cooked to medium rare. The meat is perfectly cooked and very tender. The apricot dumplings for dessert were the perfect ending. The wines from the estate are also delicious and perfectly matched to the dishes. The prices are fair and reasonable.

My review is about the restaurant: Highly recommended restaurant, with excellent cuisine, very friendly and competent staff, and a nice chef!!! Where else do you hear these days: "Everything was perfect, you were satisfied, and, you know, "thank you for being here" were the chef's words as we left! We felt very welcome! The prices (in my opinion) are very fair for the quality of the food and service. The "Goldene Traube" is a sincere recommendation if you're hungry in Tramin
