Our Camping Kiefernhain is situated in a quiet position on the edge of the village Prad am Stilfserjoch, 900 meters above sea level. From our camping, you can enjoy a dreamlike view over the peaks of the Ortler massif and discover the natural landscape of Vinschgau by many activities for the whole family.

Pitches & Facilities

We offer camping enthusiasts marked pitches ranging from 60 to 90 sqm. Each pitch is equipped with electricity and water connections. Available as well: Clean sanitary facilities, which are also offered for rental. In addition, we offer a daily bread service, a comfortable relaxation area with a bar/café, sun terrace, drinks dispensers as well as free WLAN in the entire area.

Outdoor Pool, Hiking & Biking

The guests at Camping Kiefernhain in Prad have free entry to the adjacent heated public outdoor pool, which features a 42-metre slide, a baby paddling pool, water features, a large sunbathing lawn, a snack bar and a children’s playground. Be it shopping, sports, culture, mountain biking or hiking, in the environs of our campsite in Vinschgau, you can find everything you need for a perfect holiday. Enjoy the variety of our holiday region and many activities for any age.

I've been tenting there every year for the past three years. It's a good campsite, conveniently located for those passing through. It's a shame there aren't any amenities like a market or restaurant, which is why, given the somewhat high price, I only stayed one night. The bathrooms were clean and the staff were helpful.

A campsite within walking distance of the town of Prad am Stilfersjoch. The grounds are lined with pine trees, offering pitches in partial shade or sun. The sanitary facilities are very clean, and there's no hassle with coins or push buttons at the showers, just unlimited hot water. The ground is made up of small stones and pine needles, with some grass or similar. Besides pitches neatly lined up along the fence, there are also pitches crisscrossed under the trees. Free access to the adjacent outdoor pool. With the free Vinchau Card, you can use public transport, such as the train to Merano or the bus to Solda or Stilfersjoch Pass. The reception is open until 8 p.m. All in all, a great campsite for several days.

Excellent campsite, spotlessly clean restrooms, and the option to have a private one. Each pitch has electricity and water hookups. The swimming pool is available.

Expensive campsite. Location so-so. Technically top-notch (sanitary facilities, swimming pool). Otherwise, no atmosphere. Next to a sports park. Not really nice.

We had a great few days at the campsite. We really enjoyed it there. Everything was clean and tidy. The staff on site were friendly and explained everything, and our questions were no problem and were answered pleasantly. The other guests on site also contributed to the cleanliness by placing brooms and squeegees where everyone goes, such as by/in the toilets, at the sinks, etc. All in all, it was a successful stay. The view was also fantastic, and the adjacent outdoor pool was also great. We can recommend the site.

I called to see if they had space for a tent and two motorcycles. They told me that yes, they still had space but that they weren't accepting reservations. I specified that they were an hour away and that the site would be held for at least that period, which they reluctantly confirmed. I asked for the price and was told €45 for two people in a tent and motorcycle. I arrived at the campsite after 45 minutes and found the promised spot, but for €60. They told me I probably misunderstood on the phone. The tent area is so-so, the terrain isn't very flat, with some roots and gravel. Very close to the pool area, but be careful because the sprinklers can spray in some spots. The restrooms are very clean and the showers are top-notch (but a bit moldy here and there). I won't be returning because of the high prices... €60 for a night in a tent with no water or electricity is definitely excessive. August or not.

We had a wonderful stay at Camping Kiefernhain. The location is absolutely beautiful and ideal for relaxation, and the staff were consistently warm and helpful. The entire campsite is very well-maintained, and the sanitary facilities are modern, clean, and in excellent condition. We were particularly impressed by the direct access to the public outdoor swimming pool, which is also exceptionally clean and well-maintained. A fantastic barbecue evening is held there once a week, providing a convivial and enjoyable change of pace. We also appreciated the option of choosing between sunny and shady pitches. Overall, there's a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere that makes the stay unforgettable – therefore, we are very happy to award it a full 5 out of 5 stars!

The campsite is strategically located for families, cyclists, motorcyclists, and sports enthusiasts, as well as for hiking. The campsite is adjacent to the municipal swimming pool, which offers free access. There is no market on site, but the village is 1 km away, where there are bars, restaurants, and supermarkets.
