Welcome to Residence Walder in Pfalzen!

Our inviting Residence Walder is located in Issing/Pfalzen, just a few minutes’ drive from the lively town of Bruneck, the vibrant centre of the green Pustertal Valley. Here, you will experience a cozy atmosphere, pleasant tranquillity, and comfort that leaves nothing to be desired. This family-run residence sits on a sunny plateau, surrounded by pristine nature and a breathtaking mountain panorama.

Apartments with garden & sauna

We offer cosy, fully equipped, and bright holiday apartments, furnished with plenty of wood and featuring a spacious balcony. Outside, you will find a well-maintained garden, where you can soak up the sun, enjoy a good book in peace, watch your children play, or have a relaxed barbecue. Additionally, Residence Walder offers a playroom and a ski storage area. Our sauna area, including a Finnish sauna, bio sauna, and Turkish steam bath, is available for free on selected days during winter. At other times, the sauna can be reserved for private use at an additional charge. Each apartment comes with one garage parking space, and we also offer a breakfast service with regional products for an extra fee.

Relaxing holidays at Kronplatz

Nature lovers and sports enthusiasts alike will find a wide range of activities around Pfalzen. Choose from hiking, cycling, the nearby climbing park, or the idyllic swimming lake, as well as fantastic ski slopes on Mt. Kronplatz, South Tyrol’s number one ski mountain. As our guest, you will receive a discount on sauna entry at the Cron4 swimming complex. Additionally, the Südtirol Guest Pass is included in the apartment price.

It's simply wonderful every time; we arrive and immediately feel at home. That's what a holiday is all about from the very beginning. From the initial inquiry to the booking, the service is fantastic. This family-run establishment has an exceptionally friendly and personal touch, which is reflected in the way guests are treated and the lovingly designed interior. It's always wonderful here! This is our fifth time here, and we're really enjoying our stay. In the mornings, you can help yourself to coffee, tea (made with herbs from their own garden), and something sweet (there's always something homemade from Grandma). The apartments are equipped with everything you need. Everything is very clean and well-designed. There's something new every year. Petra and Florian run their residence with great attention to detail and are always available for questions or other needs. Each apartment has an underground parking space. The location is also fantastic. We haven't done any of the same hikes twice. There's so much to explore!

We were absolutely delighted with our holiday at the Durnwalder family's place. From the moment we booked, we were treated with incredible friendliness and warmth, and the welcome was equally warm. Our apartment was spotless, and the breakfast service was perfect. Everything here is designed with meticulous attention to detail, and the needs of the whole family have been clearly considered. Dear Petra and Florian, It was another wonderful week with you! I think this was our 40th stay (including our summer holidays)... need we say more? For others, here are a few highlights: - Friendly and welcoming hosts - Very well-equipped and spotlessly clean apartments - Delicious breakfast service - Fantastic sauna! - Just 20 meters to the ski bus stop And there's always something new... this year, the lovingly and comfortably renovated conservatory. We spent a family ski week over New Year's Eve in this beautiful residence. The property is new, well-maintained, always clean, and smells great, with a covered garage, a children's playroom, and a dedicated ski storage room (as well as a sauna). We went skiing at the magnificent Koronplatz using the free ski bus, which drops off right next to the property both ways. A unique convenience. In 25 minutes, you can be at the cable car without worrying about parking, and you don't have to worry about parking. Our apartment was the smallest available: a double bedroom, bathroom, living room/kitchen with sofa bed, but since we had small children, we were very comfortable. It also had a large, pleasant balcony. The basic breakfast included in the price was very good, with the option of requesting additional food as an extra. The owners are welcoming and friendly, and they run the property admirably. I highly recommend it.

Dear Petra and Florian, We were once again able to spend a few wonderful days in your house. We would like to thank you most sincerely for your warm welcome. Our friends, who were staying with you for the first time, were also delighted. As always, the highlights of your apartments were the lovingly designed furnishings, the clean apartments, the perfect breakfast service, the delicious bacon platter, the sauna, the games rooms (billiards, foosball, children's playroom), and of course, the two of you with your lovely daughters. We will definitely be back and are already looking forward to seeing you again.
