Our family-run Naturhotel Waldheim*** in Altrei is an ideal place for a pleasant holiday marked by tranquillity, nature and relaxation. It is characterized by its sunny and very peaceful location in Altrei, a peaceful hamlet south of Bozen, and it is surrounded by the wonderful landscape of the nature park Trudner Horn.

The comfortable rooms and the spacious suites are furnished with high quality materials and modern comfort. They all have a wonderful panoramic balcony with view to the mountains or the nature park, as well as a bathroom, satellite TV, phone and safe.

Das Personal war immer freundlich, gut gelaunt und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war immer super. Und die regionalen Produkte beim Frühstück waren einzigartig. Der wunderschöne Pool und Wellnessbereich ist ein absoluter Traum zu entspannend. Uns hat es sehr sehr gut gefallen und wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Das Naturhotel Waldheim liegt in sehr ruhiger Lage mit wunderbarer Aussicht auf die umliegende Bergwelt. Von hier aus kann man direkt schöne Wanderungen in den Nationalpark Trudener Horn starten. Unser Zimmer war noch eins von den nicht neu Renovierten, aber war trotzdem absolut in Ordnung. Der kleine Spa- Bereich mit dem Schwimmbad ist nicht sehr groß, aber wunderschön gestaltet und perfekt gepflegt. Es war auch nie zu voll dort. Das Essen war phantastisch:sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück ( u.a. mit selbstgebackenen Brotsorten und Kuchen, Bergkäse; alles sehr hochwertig) und mehrgängigem Abendmenü, dass uns immer ausgezeichnet geschmeckt hat. Die Familie Zaniol und ihre Angestellten sid alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und bemühen sich, alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Der hoteleigene Fahrradverleih hat auch einwandfrei funktioniert ( tolles Rad!).

We’re a young couple, and we stayed here with our dog—we had a really great time! Excellent value for the money and good-quality food. The staff is super helpful, friendly, and very professional. The property is clean, tidy, and well-maintained. The pool, sauna, and green spaces were also very nice—we really appreciated them, especially for our dog. The buffets were excellent—both the salad bar and the breakfast spread—with plenty of choices. Overall, it was a wonderful experience; we felt right at home and would love to come back!

Very friendly host family—warm and always approachable. Delicious meals—fresh, varied, and including vegetarian options. Great location for hiking. Very nice wellness area with a sauna, swimming pool, and outdoor facilities. Spacious rooms, well-equipped, with comfortable beds and high-quality linens and towels.
