It was a fantastic 5-day stay. No complaints. The cleanliness was impeccable, as was the order. The owners' thoughtfulness and attention to detail are commendable: friendly, welcoming, helpful, and attentive. The delicious cuisine, prepared with authentic ingredients, was carefully crafted. The owner's efforts to share family traditions and offer unique experiences were also certainly appreciated.

For a week we were "guided" by Giovanni, a man of authentic values, and pampered by the culinary delights of his wife Edith. Unfortunately, the Italian language does not provide a suitable adjective to describe our experience in Soví: to say that it is a beautiful place, cared for in the smallest details where even the furnishings transmit the passion and sweat of the generations of the Vallazza family, that you eat very well (with products often locally produced otherwise at km 0), that you feel pampered and at home and you breathe the fragrant and fresh air of the real mountain, lived and respected by the Ladin populations, that you wake up and go to sleep guarded by the stone giant that is the Sas dla Crusc that watches you from up there ... all this still does not do it completely justice because there is still to talk about this family, their contagious dedication to this land and to this mission, of Edith, who prepares wonderful delicacies and always welcomes you smiling with a "bundé" and above all of that "superman" Giovanni, an incredible person, a tireless man of a thousand resources, who manages to give the whole holiday a unique and original added value. , involves his guests in the life of the farm, in his life, he tells you his story, explains what he does, how he does it, why he does it and how grateful he is to life for "having been parachuted" into that place, in short from Soví you leave rested, satisfied but above all enriched in spirit and reconciled with the human race; crucial are the post-dinner walks with tasting of liqueurs, grappas and bitters made by Giovanni (assisted by his professional friend always tends to specify) with the herbs of his land, of which he tells you the process contextualizing it with the local tradition, fundamental that of the hay grappa on Saturday in the barn in memory of the customary shot of his grandfather to seal the work done during the week to thank the Gods of the Mountain; thanks to this initiative Giovanni manages to create moments of aggregation among the guests and so groups of people in harmony are created, friendships are made with the other participants and everything becomes more real and unforgettable! This is what happened to me with my friends from Rome and Bologna! Long live Giovanni, long live Edith, long live the Vallazzas, long live Soví…or rather: VIVES (health in Ladin) and “a sundai” (goodbye)!

We had a wonderful experience at Agriturismo Sovì! Four of us stayed in two different rooms, with breakfast and dinner included, for five days. Close to the ski lifts, this place is wonderful for relaxing and enjoying a carefree day of skiing. The food was truly delicious, breakfast was ready very early, and dinners were always different. Giovanni is an exceptional host, accommodating even our strangest requests (like bringing friends from outside for dinner or providing lunch in our room for our injured friend). We'll definitely be back and recommend it to everyone!

Our stay in May 2025 at the agriturismo Sovì in the Italian Dolomites was wonderful, and one of the most rewarding travel experiences of my life. If you are interested in immersing yourself in the unique, ancient way of life (and the alpine cuisine) of the Ladin people, you will appreciate Sovì’s attentive hospitality. Cook and front-of-house Edith creates delicious, interesting traditional Ladin dishes every night, and at breakfast you can enjoy her cakes and biscuits, farm eggs, local cheeses, and butter, cream and yoghurt made from the rich milk of the farm's three cows. Innkeeper, farmer, forester, mechanic and tech whizz Giovanni milks his cows morning and night in a sturdy old larch-wood barn made by his great-great-great grandfather (ask him for a tour at milking hour!), and then changes into his traditional Ladin lederhosen to host dinner. Then, if you are lucky, Giovanni will treat you - in a different location on the farm every night - to his ambrosial home-made liqueurs, each made with alpine plants, and each told with a special story. A comfortable, warm chalet, well off the beaten track, surrounded by meadows and forest. Thank you for your hospitality, Edith and Giovanni.

Highly recommended. We were there as an older couple at the end of May. Edith cooks traditional, four-star cuisine, from the first course to the dessert served with half-board at dinner. Prima Plati and Secunda Plati. Her husband, Johann, is the heart and soul of the house, alongside his work as a part-time farmer and self-employed field technician. He provides service to guests from breakfast to dinner. The natural friendliness of the two owners is simply extraordinary. The completely renovated farm invites you to linger. But it's so quiet that you do need a car.

Edith and Giovanni are the sweetest and with a heart warming welcome you know that you are at the correct place. Ready to help out with whatever you may ask about. Great to hear about the family history and the Soví farm. The outlying area with stories of the trees, the cities and the rich culture and history of Ladinia. Thank you for a lovely experience!

We spent a few days at the Sovi farmhouse and I have to say that we had a great time. The location is very beautiful, the dishes that Edith cooks are really delicious and the owners were really nice and above all available for all our needs. I highly recommend
