Welcome to Chalet Schmied in Terenten!

The Chalet Schmied is located in wonderful Pustertal Valley, in Terenten, at 1,200 m of altitude between Bruneck and Brixen. The area is characterised by many sunny hours; in fact, Terenten is also called sunny village. The magnificent panoramic position guarantees an unforgettable view of the surrounding natural landscape. The chalet has a quiet and yet central position, as restaurants, a supermarket and the bus stop can be reached on foot.

Wellness Area & Garden with BBQ

Our chalet welcomes you with a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. Our 8 apartments and 6 rooms are cosy and lovingly furnished. The apartments have 5 categories, with a living space from 38 to 67 m². Each apartment has a kitchenette with electric devices and tableware. Some apartments free of barriers. WLAN is free in the whole building. Outdoors, you are offered a large garden with barbecue facilities. A storage room for hiking and ski boots as well as for bikes is available too. Also, our guests can make use of the washing machine and dryer in the laundry room. In the morning, you will start the day with our breakfast buffet, enjoying homemade jams, juices, cakes and egg dishes. After your discovery tours in nature, there will be nothing better than relaxing in our wellness area with Finnish sauna, bio sauna, steam bath and adventure showers, relax area with panoramic view and terrace.

Activities for everyone in every season

Terenten is an excellent starting point for countless activities in our holiday region. Our guests are offered easy and difficult hikes, bike tours, dreamlike ski runs at Mt. Kronplatz ski area and much more. Moreover, Terenten offers one of the best children’s playgrounds in Pustertal, mini golf and tennis courts.

We spent 7 days, 7 nights, 7 wonders (oh no, that was a Wolfgang Petry song :D) - just kidding! We stayed at Chalet Schmied for a week as a small family, and it was wonderful. The apartment was very chic and furnished to a high standard, very clean, and we loved the charm and flair of the house. The hostess and her son were incredibly warm and friendly, and we felt very comfortable. It was a beautiful area—only the weather wasn't always great—but the hostess can't do anything about that ;-). Thank you so much and all the best, and who knows, maybe see you soon!

One of the most beautiful hotel apartments in northern Italy. In terms of cleanliness and the hospitality of the chalet owners, its location is distinguished by being on a mountain, and even when it is sunny, the air is cold. The two-bedroom apartment has a bidet, but the one-bedroom apartment does not have one. The kitchen is fully equipped, and it has a sauna and a gym. The garden has seating and a barbecue area, and there is a supermarket nearby.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay – with a lot of heart! We were two couples staying at the Chalet Schmid apartment in Terenten and felt welcome and at home from the very first moment. The apartment is modern, furnished to a high standard, and well-equipped – it lacked absolutely nothing. A particularly pleasant touch: the daily cleaning (vacuuming and dusting), which further enhanced the already high level of comfort. The two separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, were ideal for us. The location is great for hikes around Kronplatz or into the Pustertal Valley. Bolzano and Merano are about an hour away, but that wasn't a problem for us. A real highlight was the lovingly designed wellness area with a bio sauna, steam bath, hay lounger, and relaxation area – simply perfect for relaxation. We used it every day. Breakfast can also be booked as an option – it looked absolutely fantastic and will definitely be included next time! The warm hospitality of the hosts is particularly worth mentioning – you can feel how much passion and dedication goes into their work. We would love to come back and can highly recommend Chalet Schmid!

We stayed there for a few days and appreciated the courtesy and kindness of Martina, the owner. The breakfast was truly excellent, the rooms were well-appointed and clean (the only complaint was that there was no bidet), and the atmosphere was family-friendly.
