Pifrailerhof

The farm Pifrailerhof is idyllically situated at an altitude of 1,200 m in the heart of the Schnals Valley, just 1 km from the small village of Karthaus. Our two holiday homes close to the farm are perfect for a relaxing holiday close to nature in an impressive alpine mountain landscape at any time of year. Between pastures and forests, meadows and mountain peaks, there is much to discover for guests of all ages. On request, we also offer a breakfast basket with farm products such as milk, yoghurt, cream cheese and jam.

For farm holidays, we offer the Alte Mühle holiday home and – brand new from the end of September 2025 – the Penaud holiday home. Both cottages can accommodate 2-5 people and are cosy and comfortably furnished with wood. Each has a kitchen-living room with a fully equipped kitchenette and satellite TV, a bathroom with hairdryer, (at least) one bedroom and WiFi. Bed linen, towels and tea towels are also provided. In addition, there is a garden with barbecue, deckchairs, parasol and seating, as well as a covered car park.

You can set off on hikes and bike tours directly from the Pifrailerhof. There is also a bus stop only about 100 metres from the farm – convenient for excursions to the Ski Arena Schnals, the ski area on the Schnalstal Glacier, or the spa town of Meran. In the nearby village of Karthaus, there is a restaurant and a shopping facility. At the farm itself, our guests can experience everyday farm life with cows, sheep and other animals.
