Welcome to Camping Sägemühle in Prad

Our Camping Sägemühle**** in Prad am Stilfserjoch offers varied and carefree holidays with a dreamlike mountain scenery. The campsite is located in a quiet and sunny position at 900 m of altitude and only 300 m from the village centre. Camping lovers can choose between pitches, caravans for rent, wooden chalets, wooden bungalows and apartments.

Indoor pool, wellness area and mini-market

Our guests are offered comfortable sanitary facilities with children’s bathrooms and a private bathroom for rent. Moreover, our campsite offers an indoor pool with waterfall and jet stream, sauna, steam bath and fitness room. Families will look forward to 3 playgrounds, a recreation room with table soccer and children’s entertainment in summer. Also, there is free high-speed fibre-optic internet on the entire campsite. From the culinary point of view, you will enjoy your holidays to the fullest as well: Enjoy an aperitif or a cake in the bar & café, delicious à-la-carte specialities at the dinner restaurant or get a pizza from our pizzeria. The mini market offers everything you wish for a good camper’s breakfast, South Tyrolean wines and a little more. If you need more things to buy, we recommend a detour to the nearby village centre.

Hiking, biking and skiing!

The mountain landscape surrounding Camping Sägemühle offers great possibilities for active guests at any time of the year: In summer, there are varied hiking and bike tours, and winter, you can quickly reach the ski runs, cross-country ski runs and winter hiking paths. We offer further information and services concerning sports activities.

Highly recommended. Friendly welcome. The campsite is very quiet and beautiful. It's especially suitable in winter as the sun shines all day. The swimming pool is pleasantly warm and very clean. The same goes for the toilets and washrooms. Overall, a wonderful campsite.

The campsite is beautifully situated and offers both shady and sunny pitches. Public transport connections are very good (just a 5-minute walk to two bus lines). The reception staff and the manager are very friendly and helpful. The indoor pool is very nice, although the control panel for the bubble loungers is in dire need of updating. Unfortunately, we were not impressed at all with the sanitary facilities. While they were always very clean, the overall equipment is probably 20 to 30 years old. Showering in a plastic cubicle, for example, is a no-go for us. Due to the facilities in both sanitary buildings – although, as mentioned, they were always very clean – we would not return to the campsite until further notice. However, if newer or more modern sanitary facilities are not so important to you, Camping Residence Sägemühle is a very nice and well-managed campsite.
