Zamek Jaufenburg w San Leonardo in Passiria
Funkcją średniowiecznego kompleksu zamkowego z XIII wieku było strzeżenie drogi do przełęczy Jaufenpass. Jedyną zachowaną częścią starego kompleksu jest wolnostojący donżon. Wszystkie inne dodatki popadły w ruinę na przestrzeni wieków.
Warownia zamku Jaufenburg została pieczołowicie odrestaurowana i od 2003 roku stanowi oddział Muzeum Passiria Pass. Oprócz wystaw dotyczących historii kompleksu, typowych gospodarstw tarczowych Val Passiria i niegdyś wpływowych rodzin z doliny, na innych piętrach można podziwiać renesansowe obrazy. Ze szczytu pięciu pięter odwiedzający mają wyjątkowy widok na Val Passiria aż do Merano i mogą dowiedzieć się więcej o legendach otaczających zamek Jaufenburg na stacjach audio.

Warto również odwiedzić mały, późnogotycki kościół Świętego Krzyża tuż pod zamkiem. Zwiedzanie zamku Jaufenburg można również połączyć ze spokojną wędrówką wzdłuż ścieżki słońca, która rozpoczyna się w centrum miejscowości St. Leonhard.
Do zamku Jaufenburg można dotrzeć w około 20-30 minut pieszo z San Leonardo in Passiria dość stromą ścieżką. Istnieje również wąska droga dojazdowa dla samochodów od strony Jaufenstraße. Zamek jest zwykle otwarty każdego lata dla turystów indywidualnych i grup. Za dodatkową opłatą dostępne są wycieczki z przewodnikiem.
