On two Saturdays in September and October, the red carpet is rolled out! From 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, visitors can enjoy a stylish shopping experience in one of the most beautiful shopping streets in Europe.

The charming Fugger town shows itself from its best side: The red carpet leads through the historic old town with its colourful facades and arcades. Local shops and restaurants present exclusive fashion, fine jewellery, South Tyrolean craftsmanship and culinary delicacies. Every Saturday has a special theme, accompanied by live music and little surprises.

Whether you are looking for a special bargain or simply want to enjoy the atmosphere, ‘The red carpet’ will make your autumn visit to Sterzing unforgettable. You may even meet a celebrity guest, as the town in the Eisacktal Valley is known for its international charm.
