Wieserhof Familien Bauernhof

We spent a week at the Wieserhof in May, and what can we say? It was simply perfect for us as a small family with a baby and a dog. The apartments are spotlessly clean, comfortably and modernly furnished, and equipped to a high standard. The breakfast, with regional specialties and homemade spreads, dips, and much more, was simply wonderful. The sauna area is very cozy, inviting, and offers a fantastic view. We felt warmly welcomed and were even allowed to name a newborn calf. The location is ideal for hikes and day trips… A truly wonderful vacation!

We had a wonderful time at Wieserhof! The Fischnaller family is incredibly warm and welcoming, and being able to observe and even accompany them in their daily work on the farm was truly special for us. We highly recommend it, especially for families with children. The apartments are very modern yet cozy thanks to the abundance of wood. The breakfast was delicious and left nothing to be desired. Our absolute favorite place to stay in South Tyrol – we'll definitely be back! We spent 10 wonderful days at the Wieserhof and can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation! The rooms are simply beautifully designed – lots of wood, meticulous attention to detail, and a thoughtful design that makes the entire place truly special. And the view of the mountains? Absolutely breathtaking, something you won't soon forget! Breakfast was a highlight every morning – incredibly delicious and so varied that there was something for everyone. The underground parking garage also pleasantly surprised us: plenty of space and even two electric vehicle charging stations! A truly special experience was visiting the farm next door. We even got to witness three calves being born. The adorable playroom and the beautiful playground nearby are fantastic for children. The spa area was also a well-deserved break for the adults. But what truly makes the Wieserhof special is the warm and welcoming Fischnaller family and Christine. From the very first moment, you feel welcome and at ease. The atmosphere is warm and friendly – ​​it's easy to strike up a conversation with the other families if you want. We felt completely at home for the entire 10 days and were truly sad when we had to leave. Wieserhof has won our hearts – we're already looking forward to returning! ️

This was our first time in South Tyrol, and the Wieserhof proved to be the perfect place to stay. We'd like to share our experience. The Wieserhof is authentic (!!!), warm, and welcoming. The owners themselves are there for their guests. They know the area well, making it easy to get great tips for excursions. You can start various hikes of different lengths directly from the farm (see our hikes below). The rooms are modern, with lots of wood (furniture, floors), and are very spacious, easily accommodating several people. The bathroom is fantastic (huge shower; I bet nobody has a shower like that at home). The breakfast is excellent (top quality, fresh, and varied). There's more than enough, yet it's not wasteful. For groceries or dinner: There's a bakery and a small but incredibly good supermarket nearby (even I enjoyed shopping there). If you're planning on visiting mountain huts, this is the perfect complement. The kitchenette in the room offers a fully equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher, etc.). The Wieserhof has thought of everything (dish towels, dishwasher tablets, etc. – everything is already provided for guests). Alternatively, for a completely hassle-free experience, you can order from the pizzeria's delivery service (the pizza is better and cheaper than some in our hometown). If it happens to rain, take advantage of the farm's sauna. It's amazing how beautifully the sauna is integrated into the house. Your car can be conveniently parked in a covered garage during your stay. Electric vehicle charging points are also available. Example day trip: Wieserhütte (starting directly from the Wieserhof) The best mountain hut we've visited as a destination or stopover on various hikes/tours. The food and, above all, the service there are by far the best. Option 1: Start directly from Wieserhof to the Wieserhütte (The tour can then continue from the Wieserhütte, or simply return.) Options 2 and 3: Hike from the Wieserhütte via the Gitschberg lift (mid-station) or the Gitschberg summit to the Wieserhütte (It's also possible to rent bikes from the Wieserhütte and cycle back to the Wieserhof ) Tip: Take the opportunity to buy some cheese there. Day trip: Jochtal (short drive) Option 1: Hike up Jochberg Option 2: Hike the "Milk Trail": a very beautiful destination (but be careful when choosing a hut in the Fane Almdorf). From the Wieserhof, you can start countless other tours and excursions. So why Wieserhof? It's ideal for recharging your batteries and enjoying family time (including watching the children play on the trampoline, interact with the cows, and much more from the terrace). In the evenings, you can join other guests in the common room or enjoy the privacy of your own spacious, modern guest room. A stay at the Wieserhof is a different experience than a typical hotel stay. Tip: Buy some of the homemade bread before you head home.

Everything was perfect! The decor was very tasteful, high-quality, and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious, the hosts were incredibly friendly, the panoramic views were stunning, and it was a great base for exploring the area. It couldn't have been better.

We were hesitant to write a review, hoping the Wieserhof would remain a hidden gem. But our stay was so wonderful that we simply had to share our enthusiasm. We spent our vacation in Meransen with three families and a total of six children, and we were completely satisfied. From the very first moment, we felt incredibly comfortable. The Wieserhof is high-quality, thoughtfully designed, and furnished with great attention to detail. It truly lacks nothing. We were particularly impressed by the breakfast – simply fantastic! The selection, the quality, and the fresh products made every morning a highlight. It was also perfect for the children. They could move around freely, play, and explore the surroundings. The nearby hiking trails are beautiful and also great fun for families with children. The Wurzelweg (Root Trail) was a particularly wonderful experience. Our favorite hiking destination was the Wieserhütte. The food there is excellent, the atmosphere is welcoming, and it's easy to strike up a conversation with friendly people.
