In Algund near Meran, you can buy these delicacies directly from the local farmers as well as from South Tyrolean producers each year in autumn. The traditional “Farmer’s market” in Algund will take place from 22 to 25 October 2026 on the Church Square.
Each day from 9 am to 5 pm, the stands offer bacon and sausages, cheese products, bread specialities, apiculture products, liquors and distillates, jams and much more. Of course, the farmers will tell you more about their products and the methods of cultivation, harvesting and processing.
Experience a traditional market in the picturesque village Algund and the authentic taste of natural South Tyrolean quality products.
