Z północnego brzegu zbiornika Neves (1860 m n.p.m.) szlakiem nr 24 przez las do schroniska Neveser Alm i dalej do schroniska Chemnitzer Hütte (znanego również jako Nevesjoch-Hütte, 2419 m n.p.m., ok. 1,5 godziny). Stąd szlakiem nr 27 wzdłuż Kellerbauerweg, w większości płasko, a później przez strome głazy do jeziora Tristensee (2 344 m).

Droga tam znajduje się w drodze powrotnej (ok. 1 ¾ godziny)
