Zamek Tyrol w Tirolo
Zamek, w którym obecnie mieści się Muzeum Historii Regionalnej, jest w doskonałym stanie. Jego mur obwodowy, który został zbudowany już w 1100 roku, jest jednym z najstarszych i najlepiej zachowanych istniejących murów obronnych.
Marmurowe portale z XII wieku, bogato zdobione rzeźbami i symbolami, są również jednymi z najbardziej oryginalnych dzieł sztuki romańskiej w Tyrolu. W kaplicy znajdują się XIII-wieczne freski, XIV-wieczna grupa ukrzyżowania i najstarsze tyrolskie witraże.
Niemniej jednak Muzeum Historii Kultury i Regionu zajmuje się nie tylko średniowieczem, ale jest również poświęcone burzliwej historii Południowego Tyrolu i prezentuje stale zmieniające się, ciekawe wystawy specjalne.
