Tauferer Straßenküche

The “Stroßnkuchl” in Sand in Taufers is the mother of every street- and open-air kitchen in South Tyrol. This year as well, the main village of the Tauferer Ahrntal once again invites gourmets to taste their creations every Tuesday from 7 July to 25 August 2026.  

During the summer, connoisseurs can look forward to two months full of delightful moments. Restaurant chefs of Sand in Taufers take their kitchen tools to the streets and cook South Tyrolean specialities and Mediterranean delicacies under the starry sky: Krapflan and Buchteln here, seafood salad and porcini mushroom risotto there. 

Sooner or later everyone will find the favourite stand and number one chef, after all, you have time to try out all stands every Tuesdays. In addition to culinary highlights, diverse bands, offer entertaining evenings. Folk music, brass band music or funky jazz: similar to food, there is something for every taste. 

The street kitchen in the village centre of Sand in Taufers is open from 6:00 to 10:00 pm.
