Hotel Ploseblick

My first time staying at this hotel – and I immediately felt at home. This is exactly what you imagine a hotel in South Tyrol to be: peacefully situated, full of character, and with a pleasant blend of tradition and warmth. The cuisine is outstanding across the board. The dishes are of very high quality, tastefully prepared, and provide a perfect end to each day. The service in the morning deserves special mention: The breakfast attendant greets guests with an exceptional friendliness and genuine warmth. It's not rehearsed, but truly heartfelt. A smile, a kind word – exactly what you want for a good start to the day, regardless of the weather outside. One would certainly appreciate this same palpable warmth in the evening service to complete the overall very positive impression.

As coach drivers, we stay in many hotels, but this was definitely one of the better ones we’ve experienced. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. There was a slight language barrier at times, though that was on us for not speaking Italian or German however we still managed perfectly well with a bit of creativity and good humour. The main lobby area was beautiful, with a real wood fire that made it feel cosy, warm, and inviting at all times. The children we brought were accommodated in a different hotel, which meant it was lovely and peaceful during our stay. The only downfall was we were in the basement rooms next to the sauna, so the rooms were very warm but we turned the radiator down and opened a window to rectify this. We was also below the dining room so if you wanted a lie in (didn't matter to much for us as we had to go driving everyday) but you could hear the chairs and tables being moved and people walking to get breakfast. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the chance to use the sauna, so we’re unable to comment on that facility. I do hope in the future I get the privilege of staying here again.

We stayed at this hotel the first week of September, full of excitement for our first vacation in South Tyrol. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to our expectations. The room was clean and well-maintained, but the beds were truly uncomfortable: mattresses too soft and low, and pillows too hard. The staff kindly replaced the pillows, but the cleanliness of the bed left us perplexed: no mattress protector, just a thin sheet between the mattress and the sheet that didn't cover the entire length of the bed. The carpet also didn't feel thoroughly clean, and a slipper left under the bed remained there for the entire stay. During our vacation, our dog, who has been traveling with us for 11 years without causing any problems, scratched a door. We immediately took responsibility, and despite some resistance from the hotel, which, at the end of our stay, demanded immediate payment of the estimated amount, we managed to protect ourselves by activating our insurance. From that moment on, however, the atmosphere changed: we were asked not to leave our dog in the room (a rule never communicated before), and we perceived a distant and unwelcoming attitude. We were moved to a table in the bar for breakfast and dinner, outside the main room and without a tablecloth, and we felt treated like unwanted guests. An incident at the spa reinforced this feeling: a guest slipped while entering the hot tub, causing the water to spill, and we felt the staff assumed it was our children. It's not pleasant to spend a vacation feeling watched or judged. The food service also didn't convince us: the appetizer buffet was repetitive, and the main courses often lacked local tradition. Breakfast was the most disappointing, with very little choice of desserts and no typical local cakes. Not even an apple in the land of apples. We do, however, want to acknowledge the strong points: the pool, spa, and games room are well-maintained and made the stay more enjoyable for us and the children. In conclusion, we spent a lot and went home disappointed. We hope the hotel can improve, especially in its welcome for guests traveling with pets and in its management of guest relations.

Beautiful, cozy hotel. The hotel is lovingly run by the family. You can tell by the excellent food and the staff. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Nothing is left to be desired. The small wellness area offers everything you need to relax. We're already looking forward to our next vacation at the Ploseblick.

A typical wooden mountain hotel Surrounded by apple trees that leave their mark, This isn't a review, just a word of appreciation Towards the owners, always attentive to their guests' needs The pool is a delight when you return from your Alpine excursion But the most anticipated part, which is always a surprise, Remains the terrace, which is like being in the piazza It's used several times for a South Tyrolean dinner And it doesn't mind breakfast when there's no rain The cool breeze surrounds the noteworthy and renowned panorama And when night falls, the silence swallows you Bidding you goodnight.

The hotel was clean, the staff very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was just adequate, good quality and great coffee :)

A truly positive experience. The family was incredibly welcoming and attentive to every need. Highly recommended for feeling at home. ️ We left a piece of our heart there.

We just got back, and I'm immediately writing a super positive review for this hotel. It offers excellent value for money, good and plentiful food, friendly staff, and impeccable cleanliness. Highly recommended.

Fantastic stay. The property is meticulously maintained, meticulously maintained, and the staff are always very friendly and available to accommodate any requests. The pool and spa area are a good size, allowing for easy access without feeling crowded. The only downside for those looking for something special is the lack of a bidet in the room. But we survive :-)
