Due to the unfavourable weather forecast, the South Tyrolean Bacon Festival will take place from 26 to 27 September 2026 at Tschurtschenthaler Platz and Rathausplatz in Bruneck and not, as planned, at the summit of Kronplatz.
South Tyrolean tradition, customs and folk culture will be the focus throughout the festival, alongside bacon and many other typical products such as wine, bread, cheese and apples.
The South Tyrolean Farmers' Association is also represented at the event and provides information about rural offerings with typical customs and traditions.
South Tyrolean bacon is not only a delicacy to be enjoyed on its own. Its unmistakable taste is also a real star, accompanying many South Tyrolean dishes.
