Zamek został zbudowany około 1580 roku jako letnia rezydencja Johanna Thomasa von Spaur, księcia-biskupa Bressanone, i zachwyca wspaniałymi boazeriami i malowidłami ściennymi z okresu renesansu. Warto również zobaczyć salę wystawową ze znaleziskami archeologicznymi z Velturno i Valle Isarco oraz dwie sale z kolekcjami sztuki.
