Muzeum Wina Południowego Tyrolu w Kaltern
Najstarsze muzeum wina we Włoszech mieściło się w zamku Ringberg nad jeziorem Kaltern, zanim w 1988 roku przeniosło się do centrum wioski Kaltern. Historyczne mury dawnej piwnicy dziesięcinnej lordostwa Kaltern-Laimburg mieściły prywatną winiarnię przed powstaniem Południowego Muzeum Wina w Południowym Tyrolu. Głęboka piwnica, XVII-wieczne sklepienie kolebkowe i obramowane kamieniem spiczaste drzwi łukowe stanowią idealne tło dla różnorodnych interesujących eksponatów.
Tysiące lat kultury winiarskiej
Stała wystawa daje żywy obraz lokalnych tradycji uprawy winorośli i pracy winiarzy. Można na przykład dowiedzieć się, czym jest Torggel lub Saltner. W pełni wyposażony warsztat bednarski opowiada o niegdyś wielkim znaczeniu tego rzemiosła dla kraju winiarskiego Południowego Tyrolu. Własna winnica muzeum z widokiem na malownicze jezioro Kalterer See jest atrakcją dla odwiedzających w każdym wieku.
